Meet Dr. Buffington
Dr. Buffington is involved in his community where he is a member of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and Rotary. He is active in his profession; having membership in the Collin County Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice, Texas Group-One, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Buffington loves all aspects of veterinary medicine. He is a devoted husband, father of two, a member of Prestonwood North Baptist Church, and has a Shih Tzu named Chip.
He is a graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, class of 1993. He honed his skills as a mixed animal practitioner for four years in Fort Worth before moving to Frisco in 1997 to open the Stonebrook Family Vet Clinic with Dr. Ken Chitwood. In 2017 Dr. Buffington formed Stonebrook Family Pet Clinic and opened a state-of-the-art clinic on Preston Road.
