Ultrasound & Echocardiography

At Stonebrook Family Pet Clinic, we partner with Oncura Partners to offer advanced ultrasound and echocardiography services—right here in our clinic. These non-invasive imaging tools allow us to visualize your pet’s internal organs and heart in real time, helping us diagnose or monitor a wide range of conditions.

Why Use Oncura?

Oncura provides access to board-certified radiologists and cardiologists who review each scan. This means your pet receives expert-level interpretation and guidance without the need for referral or travel.

When Is Ultrasound Recommended?

Ultrasound is ideal for evaluating:

  • Abdominal organs (liver, spleen, kidneys, bladder, GI tract, etc.)

  • Unexplained weight loss or chronic GI issues

  • Masses or abnormal bloodwork

  • Ongoing conditions that need close monitoring

What About Echocardiograms?

An echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) is recommended for pets with:

  • A newly detected heart murmur

  • Breathing changes or coughing

  • Known heart disease that needs ongoing care

How It Works

We perform the scan in our clinic, and the images are immediately reviewed by Oncura’s specialists. Results and next steps are typically available within 24-48 hours, keeping you informed and your pet on the right track.
